Strategic Brand Management

Brands articulate a firm’s strategy, drive its execution, and are often the most valuable assets of firms. This course basic objectives are to (1) provide an understanding of the important issues and insights in planning and evaluating brand strategies, and (2) provide the appropriate concepts and techniques to improve the long-term profitability of brand strategies.

The course combines interactive lectures, guest speakers’ presentations, exercises, and real-life cases. The cases are focused on consumer goods brands. However, this course is intended not only for those students interested in branding and marketing, but also for those students interested in consulting, entrepreneurship, and general management.
