Family Business: Developing a Sustainable Legacy

The future is here and family business owners need to manage the duality of keeping the business ready for change and innovation, while paying attention to family wellbeing and the development of the next generations.

The program is led by top experts on Family Business and Entrepreneurship from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management and Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics. It includes a visit to a successful Portuguese industrial family business in transition and provides cultural and networking opportunities for German and Portuguese family members.

This executive program is built to help family business leaders deal with this complexity. Taking place in Lisbon, in an environment of moderated learning and sharing among successful peers, participants will understand how to adjust their businesses to a more complex and digital world, while creating opportunities for family members to bond, learn to make more effective decisions and explore opportunities for societal impact.

Who should attend this program?

The program is targeted at family business owners and family members, including the next generation. Ideally, participants have a management role in their family business or a role/interest in the philanthropic side of the family activities.
