While the rewards are promising, entering the Indian market is not always easy. Next to that getting to know the Indian business culture might take a while, other bottlenecks can arise in bureaucracy and over-regulation. This program will take you by the hand and show you all dynamics, opportunities and challenges the country has to offer. Gain deep insights into law, leadership culture and the Indian consumer, learn to create a successful business model and acquire knowledge on services sourcing, outsourcing and offshoring.

To give participants a profound insight into India, its business culture and the Indian mindset, we will deeply immerse into the different business and cultural facets of this exciting and fast-paced market. You will engage in dialogue with Indian executives and get an opportunity to meet the next generation of employees. Dedicated time will be reserved to work with peer groups and faculty to apply the learnings from the program to areas that matter most to you and your organization.

Program Structure
The program runs in several cities in India and will not make you stay put in the hotel and lecture room, but will take you on an interactive learning journey through India. This entails shifting accommodation, visiting companies and absorbing India’s business in action. Lectures, talks and case study discussions will be held either in the hotel, partner business schools or at the companies we visit.

The program is best suited for executives who are either facing the challenges that come with doing business with India or for executives who are planning to expand their activities or business operations in India.

Participants’ industry background and level of seniority may be diverse. However, the program is best suited for decision-makers who are in charge of strategic projects, business functions or who have regional responsibility.

Format:
This program runs in India for a full week (7 days), covering both a tier-1 city (Bangalore) as well as a tier-2 city (Mysore) and multiple visits to businesses.

The program will commence on Sunday after lunch (at 14:00h) in Bangalore (most intercontinental flights from Europe into Bangalore land in the early hours). In order to minimize travel times, you will be staying in 3 different hotels during this week. All hotels are at 4 or 5 star level. The program finishes on Saturday afternoon in Mysore followed by bus transfer to Bangalore airport which will be reached by about 11:00 p.m.; most intercontinental flights leave Bangalore well after midnight on Sunday morning.
