Leopold Hoesch
Leopold Hoesch is one of Germany’s leading documentary film producers. He holds a master’s degree in Economics and Latin American Studies (Diplom-Regionalwissenschaften) and founded BROADVIEW in 1999, establishing the company as a leading force in high-end documentary storytelling.
His credits include acclaimed documentaries for theatrical release and streaming platforms such as Nowitzki: The Perfect Shot, KLITSCHKO, KROOS, MOSES – 13 Steps, Bernhard Langer – Eternal Champion, Black Eagles (Schwarze Adler), ON THE WAVE, The Last Taboo, and Angela Merkel – A Legacy Through Time.
His productions have earned numerous prestigious national and international awards, including the International Emmy Award, the German Television Award, the German Business Film Award, the Romy Award, and the Magnolia Award, as well as a nomination for the German Film Award.
