Dr. Wladimir Klitschko

Dr. Wladimir Klitschko is internationally known as the longest-reigning heavyweight world boxing champion. As a founder, he counts numerous companies and his own foundation among his portfolio. Since the beginning of the war of aggression against Ukraine, he has been standing alongside his fellow citizens, from his base in Kyiv using his global network to mobilize support for the country and its people.

With his company Klitschko Ventures, which he founded in 2016, Wladimir Klitschko developed the FACE the Challenge method from his life philosophy of Challenge Management. At the core of the method is the expansion and development of the key skill of willpower. He sees himself as a Challenge Master and aims to help people transform their problems into challenges with courage and realism. His goal is to make his expertise from nearly 30 years of competitive sport accessible – together with his team – to individuals as well as to organizations.

His companies also include the family office Kliwla, which operates in the financial sector, the 11 Mirrors Design Hotel in Kyiv, as well as FACE the Service, a management company active in commercial real estate, hospitality, and services, and the consulting firm FACE the Lawyers.For over 20 years he has been active as a foundation donor of the Klitschko Foundation, placing children and young people in Ukraine at the center of his efforts.

At the end of 2020, the method book with bestseller status, “FACE the Challenge – Discover the willpower in you!”, co-authored with Tatjana Kiel, CEO of Klitschko Ventures, was published. The method was also part of an executive education program he co-initiated in 2015 at the University of St. Gallen and was later featured in a case study at Harvard Business School (HBS), published in 2021.
