Professor Serden Ozcan

Professor Serden Ozcan is the Otto Beisheim Endowed Chair holder of Innovation and Corporate Transformation at WHU and an associate faculty at Judge Business School, Cambridge University. He is the founding director of the annual WHU Campus for Corporate Transformation event, where board and C-suite members from Europe’s largest companies share their personal and professional insights on corporate transformation. He is also the Program Director of IESE-WHU High-Performance Board Member Program, and the co-host of the Leading Corporate Transformation: The WHU Podcast, powered by PwC,featuring inspiring transformational leaders from renowned European companies.

As an expert on corporate transformation, private equity, and corporate entrepreneurship, Professor Ozcan is the recipient of multiple international research awards and his work has been published in top academic journals as well as practitioner journals such as MIT Sloan Management Review.

Professor Ozcan teaches courses for FTMBA, PTMBA and Kellogg-WHU Executive MBA, as well as for several open and customized executive education programs at WHU. As academic director, Professor Ozcan has been involved in designing and delivering senior programs for several international clients such as BASF, Latham & Watkins, Metro Group, Merck Group, EnerjiSA Üretim, and Germany’s Ministry of Defense. Professor Ozcan has also been actively involved on the ground in numerous social entrepreneurship projects, spanning across countries such as India, Estonia, Ethiopia, and Zambia.

Professor Ozcan has taught at the Copenhagen Business School and National University of Singapore Business School and has been a visiting scholar at Stanford University and the University of Chicago, among others.
